CARNEVALE (3) resumes here having run a solid fourth on debut in the G3 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington, well backed that day when beaten four lengths. He's a well bred colt who should improve this time around and take beating from the inside gate. MONUMENTUM (11) is a filly by Blue Point on debut for the Ben Brisbourne yard who has looked the goods with two trial wins. She draws ideally and can measure right up. OBAMBULATE (2) was close up at Caulfield Heath on debut and improved to this trip breaking the maiden at Pakenham. That extra experience should hold him in good stead. CRANK (1) won well on debut at Terang. He didn't beat much but could go on with it.
