MONGOLIAN CHAMP (5) Put a gap on the rest when winning by a margin of over 7L last time at the track but facing stiffer opposition. Finishes off strongly. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks like value . SOCAL RED (4) Finished with purpose when winning last start at this track and back in an easier grade. Will be trying to topple them late. Form has been improving over recent runs. Goes very close. NORTH ARM BAY (2) Maintained a solid pace but eventually weakened to finish 3rd beaten by 3L last time here and competing at a lower grade. Could run into the placings.
