Valorant EWC 2026 predictions
The EWC Valorant 2026 tournament gets underway in Paris, France, on 2 July, with 16 teams going head-to-head to decide the World Championship. A $2 million prize pool is available to be won, with the Grand Final taking place on 12 July.
Valorant tournament winner prediction
Team Vitality is currently our pick to win the Esports World Cup Valorant tournament. They’re the current betting favourite, with a strong group stage performance putting them into the quarterfinals against NS RedForce. They’ve shown some of the most balanced team strategies and have the potential to beat any team in the competition. Most recently, Team Vitality finished 4th at Valorant Masters London after coming 2nd in VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 1. If odds shorten significantly before the semi-finals, outright value may shift towards another contender.
Valorant dark horse and underdog picks
We like Team Heretics as a dark horse for this tournament based on current form. While they won the Valorant Esports World Cup tournament in 2025, they’re not currently favoured by the odds. They comfortably made the playoffs, where they’ll face BBL Esports in the quarterfinals. Should they win that match, they’ll face either Gentle Mates or NRG, giving them a good chance of making the Grand Final.
100 Thieves are another team outside the favourites that are potentially worth backing. The North America-based team had a great start in the group stage and have a good chance at getting a favourable run through the playoffs.
Dota 2 EWC 2026 predictions
The Dota 2 Esports World Cup takes place between 6 and 18 July. 24 clubs compete across 3 stages for a chance to win a share of the $2 million prize pool.
Dota 2 tournament winner prediction
Team Yandex are currently our predicted winner of the Dota 2 EWC 2026 tournament. They finished 9th-12th at last year's EWC tournament, but they’re in excellent form right now. The Russian team has won 2 Tier 1 events this year, including the recent BLAST SLAM VII. They’re joint favourites with PARIVISION.
Can Team Spirit defend their EWC title?
Team Spirit won the 2025 Esports World Cup Dota 2 title, automatically qualifying for this event. However, they’re not the current favourites and are currently 6th in the EPT leaderboard. They haven’t won an event since the EWC 2025 but have finished runners-up at 3 Tier 1 events. Their best finish in 2026 was 3rd at DreamLeague Season 29.
League of Legends EWC 2026 predictions
The League of Legends (LoL) EWC tournament takes place between 15 and 19 July. 16 teams from around the world take part, with $2 million in cash to be split between the top finishers.
LoL tournament winner prediction
T1 Esports is our current pick to win the LoL Esports World Cup. The Korean team is one of the most successful LoL teams in history, with 2 consecutive World Championship wins. They qualified for EWC 2026 with a dominant 7-1 record in the LCK qualifier and finished 3rd in last year’s EWC tournament. However, they recently finished 5th-6th at the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational after losing to Bilibili Gaming and G2 Esports. T1 has an extremely flexible drafting strategy, opting for versatile champions early in the draft, which creates a lot of draft pressure and allows them to control the map.
LoL teams and players to watch
Gen.G are favourites to win the LoL EWC tournament based on the current betting odds. They’re ahead of T1 Esports, Bilibili Gaming and Hanwha Life Esports. However, all 4 teams have an excellent chance of winning, and it could be a very close-fought tournament. Gen.G were eliminated by T1 in the LCK Road to MSI qualifying tournament. Meanwhile, Bilibili Gaming beat T1 Esports at the MSI, so all teams are capable of beating each other.
The world’s best players will be competing at the League of Legends EWC 2026 tournament. Among them will be Bin (Bilibili Gaming), Canyon (Gen.G), Knight (Bilibili Gaming), Chovy (Gen.G) and Faker (T1). Check player performances in opening rounds to get an idea of which players might carry their teams to the championship.
EWC 2026 Club Championship prediction
We’re predicting Team Vitality to win the Club Championship in 2026. The French team play with a home advantage and has a great chance due to qualifying for multiple tournaments. We expect Team Vitality to excel in CS2 and Valorant, while they’ll also compete in Chess, CrossFire and Rocket League.
Other contenders include Team Falcons and AG.AL International, which are both expected to field strong player rosters in multiple tournaments. Team Falcons were the 2025 Club Championship winners following strong performances in Dota 2, Chess and Overwatch 2. AG.AL International came 6th last year, with wins in Honor of Kings and CrossFire.
The EWC Club Championship is a cross-game competition that offers major prizes to winning teams. By competing and ranking in individual game tournaments, teams earn Club Championship points. At the end of the tournament, the team with the most points is declared the champion.
This championship also offers a record-breaking $30 million prize pool, with $7 million going to the champions.
